The theme of Harmony is the peace and balance between all life and things.
But it is also the parallel of life and death… There is no Earth without Nature. There is no Nature without Life. There is no Life without Death. There is no Death without Art. There is no Art without Horse. There is no Horse without Harmony. There is a undeniable connection between horse, human, art and life itself. We share the stories of euphoria, despair and all the experiences in-between. Our survival and history is profoundly linked to one another. As an artist, my muse is dependent on this bond. Therefore I invite you into a piece of my own artistic soul that attempts to portray this phenomena. This Enigma cannot be explained with words. So let him tell you his story by feeling the Harmony, within... Enigma was created on the precipice of heavy times in my personal life. After two near misses, I set out to make another contest piece striving for a first place finish. But I found myself missing the meaning of artistry, the why, and much motivation to start anything at all. I am an artist through and through. Art comes from deep and dark places within my soul, that comprise my entire being. I am forever grateful for the business I have built, but I lost the art of it somewhere along the way. It was never about the most realistic paint job or the most accurate sculpture. It was a way to cope with life. To let my emotion out. And even today, if I did not have any platform to share, I would continue on the sidelines, not because I want to, but because I have to. That is how I know it is true. I would simply not exist without art. It never truly clicked with model horses, until now. Enigma is just that. The phenomena of expression through art. He circles my entire journey, linking my past to my present and my future. He shares the deep and dark themes of life itself. I invite you to view him as a piece of my very soul. He fills my eyes with tears, my heart with emotion and my belly with fire. I forgot about the contents entirely during his creation because he came to be for a much more important reasoning. I will not forget this important mechanism going forward. We saved each other in this time. Thank you for being here, for through this adventure, I have finally found the art of it again...
VIDEO COMING SOONEnigma debuted at Lethbridge Live Show placing 1st in both Breed & Colour classes with a Champion wine for the Sport Horse Division. He was shown without his display. He then attended BreyerFest 2025 for the Art of the Horse contest. He was on display for attendees visiting during the festival weekend in Lexington Kentucky. He placed__ in his division.
