With only two months left to BreyerFest & Equilocity, I decided to challenge myself and create a drastic custom for this contest. I happened to have an old Palouse body that I decided to turn into a Clydesdale mare. I wanted Palouse to be unrecognizable, hence the new stoic pose. I also challenged the limits of my painting abilities, executing a highly detailed roan. ‘Mayble’ was completed in time for the contest and stands proud against the wind, defiant to all apprehension and self-doubt.
She is proof, anything is possible, with a little determination. Mayble debuted at the Stone Equilocity event during BreyerFest 2024.
She was on display for the weekend and placed 2nd in her division.
