You may submit more than one request, but please limit yourself. THE PROCESS Commission requests are for PAINT ONLY. This is a RESIN PREFFERED commission slot with the exception of select Breyer models. Priority to Resin models, but select Breyer molds will be considered. Alborozo models will always be considered. Micro Minis must be cast in Pewter to be considered. No 3D prints will be accepted at this time. You must own & ship your own model. I do not provide the model. SCULPTING WORK Some light sculpture work such as gender swapping is available for an additional fee. Other light sculpting work may be available depending on studio schedule. Serious inquiries only! Sculpt work is highly detailed and timely, therefore pricing reflects that. I DO NOT COMMISSION DRASTIC OR EXTREME CUSTOMS. THE WORK This type of artwork can take anywhere from 20-40+ hours to complete and is an extremely tedious craft. The piece will be completed using a combination of airbrush, acrylic, & pastel. The model will be sealed in a matte or satin sealer while eyes, hooves and the mouthline with be glossed for realism. I do my best to create a smooth, clean finish, but discrepancies may be found. (ie: brush strokes, small bumps, speckling) Please note that discrepancies to the reference and artistic liberties may result in the final piece. I will do my best to send some progress photos along the way. I prefer projects with more liberty for artistic interpretation. PREPPING I offer prep & priming services for an additional fee. Prepped models must be professionally processed. They will be painted at the quality that is shipped to me. I will address any concerns I may have in regards to the prep work. Any errors in the prep work are not at fault of myself or my finish work but it is best to find a model that matches the horse you are replicating. PORTRAITS Portrait paintwork is subject to additional fees due to complexity of it's replication. Certain colours will not be accepted. Artistic interpretation has discrepancies and may not be exact. I offer a simple prep/sculpt service of a gender change for an additional fee. Other simple prep/sculpt requests may be discussed. TIMELINE Though I intend on finishing pieces in a timely manner, I do not guarantee completion time. No rush orders will be accepted. Requests will be reviewed and curated based on interest and scheduling. Final and accepted selections will be emailed, where more additional photos & conversation may be sent. All communication will be through email. QUOTE If shortlisted, a quote will be provided to you via email. Adjustments to the initial quote may be taken into consideration at any point during the process. DEPOSITS A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to start, remainder of payment is due upon completion. Deposits are not requested until the job is accepted and I have the model in hand. TIME PAYMENTS Time payments are available over the course of several weeks or months, depending on your schedule. I offer flexible schedules no longer than 6 months. Schedule is agreed upon before beginning the project. Changes may be made to pay down the model faster. Each payment is due monthly until paid off. When payments are complete and the model is paid in full, it will be shipped. If at any point payments are missed or void, the model becomes property of myself and will not be shipped. Time Payments are an additional 10% of the purchase price. Time Payments also require a 20% non-refundable deposit. PAYMENT METHODS Prices are in USD. Payments may be made via PayPal, Zelle (USA) or eTransfer (Canada). Hobby references will be checked and may be requested. SHIPPING Shipping is not included in purchase price. All shipping is upon buyer's expense. Model will ship to & from Canada. Any customs fees incurred on an incoming box will be invoiced back, added to the total price. Each model is carefully wrapped in unbleached fabric and multiple layers of bubble wrap submerged in packing peanuts within a sufficient sized box. I include tracking and insurance is strongly recommended, but is at the request and risk of the buyer. Canada/USA shipping is typically $100+ International shipping is typically $200+ Shipping is at the buyer's risk. Once the model leaves my hands I am not liable for any damage or loss during transit. SHIPPING CARRIERS I can ship models via CanadaPost or UPS. CanadaPost routes through USPS for USA shipments. The maximum insurance amount on one box is $1000 CAD to the USA or $3000 CAD within Canada. UPS allows insurance of any dollar amount. Shipments from Canada into the USA are subject to duty and custom fees at the border. This is for any item over $800 USD. For private courier service UPS shipping, a tax ID or SIN is requested at time of shipment for the smoothest and easiest transaction. Otherwise, UPS emails must be checked promptly and info must be given at point of crossing the border. Failure to communicate with the courier can lead to rejection at the border. Any fees incurred will be invoiced. Tariff fees are $0 on artwork coming from Canada. REPAIRS I do not do repair-work. I ask that models be sent to a repair artist. SOCIAL MEDIA Final photos & progress will be shared before images are posted online. I retain the right to capture, post & promote progress online through my social media platforms. I retain the right to withhold copies of the final image to reproduce at my disposal. The final images will also be added to my online portfolio via social media and direct website.
